Customized Cleaning with the Narwal App

Take control of your cleaning experience with the Narwal App. Easily map out your home, choose between cleaning modes, schedule cleanings, and customize cleaning routines for each specific room in your house. Generate cleaning reports after your robot is finished.

Cleaning modes include Vacuum only, Mop only, Vacuum-then-Mop, Vacuum-and-Mop (at the same time), and Freo Mode. Freo Mode works to keep cleaning as simple and hands-off as possible for you by utilizing Narwal's intelligent cleaning features including DirtSense*, Smart swing*, and Auto Feed*. 

Home Mapping and Obstacle Avoidance

Freo is smarter than your traditional robotic vacuum. Rather than bumping into obstacles to then change directions, the Freo uses LIDAR technology, PSD, TOF, and ultrasonic sensors to map out your home and create a path that avoids obstacles in the first place. Use the Narwal App to manually set off-limits zones in your home.

Floor Surface Identification

Switch between carpet, tile, and hardwood floors without ever touching the Freo. Your robot will automatically lift up its mop pads when it reaches carpet so you don't have to worry about getting them wet. The Freo will also adjust its downward pressure and mop moisture levels depending on what surface it is cleaning. This helps prevent damage to your floors and provides you with an easy, customized clean.

DirtSense Technology

The Freo utilizes Narwal's DirtSense technology to determine how dirty your floors are. It will repeat its cleaning path as many times as needed to ensure it gets your floors thoroughly clean.

Thorough and Efficient Cleaning Route

Narwal's Arcuate-Route technology allows the Freo to run an overlapping path along its route and ensure no streaks or dirty spots are left. It does this without causing any cross-contamination between clean and dirty sections of floor by retracting the side brush of the cleaning area to prevent the dirty one from touching the ground.  The route planning algorithm allows Freo to vacuum more times and mop more times on the overlapping area in every cleaning mode. 

Corner Cleaning with Smart Swing*

Corner-Traps* technology periodically activates Smart Swing* Mode, which enables Freo to clean dust in hard-to-reach corners and along baseboards. You can choose your preference of how often to activate Smart Swing on the Narwal App.

Self-Cleaning and Drying with Auto Feed*

Freo intelligently detects how dirty its mop pads are and returns to the base station for cleaning. The base station uses Auto Feed* technology to automatically mix the perfect ratio of Narwal's exclusively formulated floor cleaner with water. It then sanitizes the mops using high-speed spinning, keeping them looking bright and clean.

After self-cleaning its mops, the Freo also dries them. Application of 40°C/104°F gentle heat helps to inhibit the growth of bacteria and protect the fabric of the mopping pads.

Quiet Cleaning

Run your cleaning robot undisturbed while it quietly does its work. The working volume in all modes is equivalent to a normal talking voice. Lowest noise level is 39dB*.

Base Station Touch Screen

• Freo automatically returns to the base station to recharge and clean its mops

Dynamic Cleaning Report

When Freo is finished with its cleaning duties, it will generate a short video that reports the cleaning details of your rooms, including the area, duration, and number of cleaning times.
